Dr. Lorenzo Anderson
Dr. Lorenzo Anderson is a recent addition to The Vision Center. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with Honors. He then graduated with a Doctorate of Optometry from the University of
Houston where he conducted anatomical research at the Texas Eye Research and Technology Center with Dr. Jan Bergmanson. Dr. Anderson served as National Liaison with the American Optometric Association,
Contact Lens Ambassador with Johnson and Johnson, and was awarded Student of the Year in his first year of optometry school.
He has a passion for specialty contact lenses and is committed to finding creative ways to provide personalized care for every patient. Dr. Anderson has obtained many specialty contact lens certifications and additional training with gas permeable lenses, scleral lenses, orthokeratology lenses, and myopia control. In addition, he has presented research at the Specialty Lens Symposium and the American Academy of Optometry.
In his spare time, Dr. Anderson loves to be outdoors with friends and family, volunteering, and exploring cities by food.
