Occasionally, contact lenses can cause other types of irritation and it is important to contact your doctor immediately if you begin to experience these types of problems. Just because you experience a problem like this does not mean you will never be able to wear contacts again. It could just mean you need contacts made with a different material or a different size.

Can You Sleep In Contacts?

Occasionally, you may fall asleep with your contacts still in. It is best to take them out after using lubricating drops. This is because taking out a very dry off you can cause an abrasion. If after removing your lenses you sense changes in your vision or experience redness or eye pain you should see your doctor immediately.
