Welcome New Patients to Palmer Vision Clinic

Here at Palmer Vision Clinic, our optometrist is dedicated to providing the best quality of eye care to our patients. We understand how vital it is to maintain proper eye health to function throughout your daily life. Physical changes in the eyes due to age, disease, or a chronic condition can make it harder for your eyes to perform at their optimal level. Dr. Bancroft and his committed staff are here to provide you with the quality eye care you need to maintain or improve your vision

What Should New Patients Expect?

When you check in for the first time, our well-experienced staff will request you to fill out our new patient forms. During your first exam, we will discuss any issues with your vision you may be experiencing. We will have you answer some questions concerning your past vision problems and your family history of vision-related issues. This will help us properly assess your current eye health and look out for any issues you may be susceptible to.

We will conduct an exam to evaluate your eye health and visuals acuity. Our optometrist is happy to answer any questions about the exam. To our new patients, we attempt to explain the process with ease for your comfort.

After the exam, our optometrist might give you a prescription for contacts or glasses if necessary. These exams are essential for maintaining optimal eye health. That’s why it’s important to have an eye exam annually. This exam also ensures that your eye problems are treated in the early stages before symptoms set in.

How We Can Help with Vision Correction and More

After providing a thorough analysis of your current eye health, we will then work with you to treat whatever specific vision issue you may be suffering from. We often help patients see clearly again with the help of glasses, contacts, or Lasik consultations. We can fit you with a prescription that is unique to your needs, including prescription sunglasses for those times when you need vision and protection from the sun. Our team can also help detect certain conditions early on, including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetes.
