Insurance
Our office provides both medical and routine vision care. Depending on the reason for your visit, we may need to bill your medical health insurance company for things such as an injury to the eye or an eye infection. Or we may bill your vision policy for a routine eye and vision exam.
Vision plans differ from medical plans. Vision plans are not designed to cover all of your vision care needs. They are simply a benefit to offset a portion of your routine eye exam, glasses, and contacts. Some plans require a copayment as well as patient payments for non-covered items.
Payment
We will be happy to work with you and your insurance company to estimate and maximize your benefits. We will submit insurance claims for you whenever possible. Because we are not a legal party to the agreement between you and your insurance company, we cannot guarantee payment by your provider.
We accept most insurance plans such as Aetna, Premera Blue Cross, Tricare Prime, Moda, Medicare, and Medicaid. We are a VSP premier provider. Please call the office if you have questions regarding your specific insurance.
