IGARD accepts referrals from general medical physicians throughout Singapore for diabetic eye examination and diabetic retinal photography (DRP). Through the use of advanced retinal imaging techniques, optometrists are able to view the back of the eye, also known as the fundus/retina, and screen for retinal anomalies that may arise due to diabetes.
