Eye Exams What Is Included

Full Adult Eye Health Examination Ages 19-64: $130

Full Senior Eye Health Examination Ages 65+: $84

The exam fee for both adults and seniors covers a full eye health examination, including digital retinal photos which are used for diagnosing and tracking diabetes and macular degeneration. It also includes a visual field screening to help to detect for glaucoma, potential strokes and brain tumours, a dilated retinal exam and a vision assessment.

Full Adult Eye Health Examination Ages 19-64 - Contact Lens Wearer: $160

Full Senior Eye Health Examination Ages 65+ - Contact Lens Wearer: $114

The exam fee for both adults and seniors covers a full eye health examination, including digital retinal photos which are used for diagnosing and tracking diabetes and macular degeneration. It also includes a visual field screening to help to detect for glaucoma, potential strokes and brain tumours, a dilated retinal exam and a vision assessment. There is a further $30 charge for Contact Lens Wearers because they require additional testing. Your optometrist will check your corneas and lids for dryness and inflammation and will review your lens care regimen. The curvature of the cornea will be re-measured. If you purchase an annual supply of lenses through our clinic, the $30 charge from your exam will be applied towards your lens purchase.

Full Child Exam Ages 18 and under: $25

The exam fee covers a thorough optometric eye examination to make sure your child's vision is developing properly and there is no evidence of eye disease. The doctor will also examine for excessive or unequal amounts of nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism and will assess eye movement ability. If needed, the optometrist can prescribe treatment, including eyeglasses and/or vision therapy, to correct a vision development problem.

Full Child Exam Ages 18 & under - Contact Lens Wearer $55

The exam fee covers a thorough optometric eye examination to make sure your child's vision is developing properly and there is no evidence of eye disease. All other testing and examination included in a regular Full Child Exam will be conducted. There is a further $30 charge for Contact Lens Wearers because they require additional testing. The optometrist will check your child's corneas and lids for dryness and inflammation and will review their lens care regimen.
