  • Gregory Blikstein

    Gregory Blikstein is a NYS Licensed Optician and is the owner of Village Optical. Gregory has been with Village Optical for 10 years and has grown the company in many ways. He not only has slashed prices across the board so now even the biggest designer names are priced extremely competitively, but also made it available for patients to receive most prescription lenses and frames on the same day. Now, all customers can afford “that perfect frame”. He has introduced many new technological advances to Village Optical such as Auto-Refraction and Retinal Imaging technology so that patients can receive the best care for their eyes. Gregory is best known for his vast knowledge of lenses and lens technologies. He'll spend as much time with customers as necessary educating them on all the different types of lenses and lens enhancements that are best for their particular visual needs. Gregory is responsible for overseeing all daily operations as well as maintaining a high priority on customer service. Come on in and have a chat with him today.

    Manager

    Laurie is the Manager of Village Optical. She has been with Village Optical for over 5 years and has contributed a ton to the growth of the company. She oversees daily operations as well as does all the buying and merchandising of the store’s goods. Coming from a fashion background as a graduate of F.I.T. Laurie has styled hundreds of patients with the perfect pair of glasses. Laurie is also responsible for overseeing daily operations and works closely with patients to aid them in finding the right pair of eyeglasses for their needs.

    Stuart Krasnoff, OD

    Optometrist, Dr. Krasnoff graduated from Suny College of Optometry in 1981. He is very well respected throughout the community and has been practicing Optometry with Village Optical for 23 years.

    Dr. Krasnoff's specialty is in fitting contact lenses as well as in the correction of diplopia (double vision) with prism therapy. Dr. Krasnoff provides through his exams not only refractive results, but also the diagnosis and non-surgical treatments of eye diseases.

  • Munira
    Ophthalmic Assistant

    Munira has been with Village Optical for three years. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati, making it easier to diversify our client base. She also speaks a little bit of Punjabi. Our easy-going and friendly environment allows her to have a more personal experience with our clientele. Munira studied at Citi Tech for Ophthalmic Dispensing. She lends a hand in overlooking all of our daily operations. Munira will be able to assist you with our products, insurances, and services.

  • Robin
    Insurance Coordinator

    Robin has been working with Village Opticals for over 20 years. She oversees all insurance plans and manages all pre-authorizations. She will be more than happy to assist you with any questions or queries you may have regarding insurance claims and billings.
