"I have had glasses/contacts for over 30 years and have had my share of optometrists. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Waldman. He is so thorough and takes his time explaining things throughout your exam. I had a change in insurance about 10 years ago and he wasn't on my plan - but I still chose to pay out of pocket for his services. Every year I walk out of his office feeling grateful for his expertise. I know that sounds silly and most people don't write reviews about their eye doctor - but he really is one of the best around the Lake County area. Highly recommended!"

"I have been going to Erie Optical for over 20 years. Dr. Waldman is friendly, thorough, and detected narrow angle glaucoma during my routine eye exam. I am thankful he discovered it, and he referred me to a specialist. The staff is always friendly, helpful and available. I have experienced very little, if any, wait time. The fun part for me is choosing my glass frames with the Office Manager, Connie B. I can count on her honesty, and I value her opinion. We have a good time in the process. I would highly recommend Erie Optical. I give them a 5 star rating."

He really takes the time to analyze my vision, then to prescribe the very best prescription to fit my life as a musician and "older" grad student. He has always left the door open for me to call with requested changes. I am beyond satisfied with his professional care of my eyes. On top of this, his staff is second to none. He recommended we see a specialist. Long story short Dr. Waldman found a serious health problem with my daughter. She hadn't even started exhibiting any symptoms. Because of him we were able to start treatment and avoid any further complications. Dr. Waldman and his amazing staff were a huge support to me and my family during the next year and a half of her treatment. "Because Erie Optical is no longer one of the covered eye doctors in our insurance plan we have been forced into buying our glasses and contacts at other places. In spite of this we have continued to return to Dr. Waldman for our exams and paid out of pocket because of his extreme professionalism, expertise, and great personality. He is well worth the extra money, even on our tight budget. Also, because we have been force to shop around at other places when looking for new glasses we have learned how good we have had it at Erie Optical over the years. I felt like we were visiting a skuzzy pawn shop in Chardon when we were shopping. Whenever visiting Erie it’s always been quite busy and energetic. The selection is great, and there is helpful staff to guide you through the daunting process that comes with frame selection. Dr. Waldman is the best, and you are blessed if you live within driving distance of him."

"Every time I go to the Erie Optical Center it is always a great experience. Dr. Waldman is so friendly and knowledgeable, and is always willing to answer any questions. The staff is so friendly and helpful no matter what I need. Picking out frames is so much easier with their wide selection and the help from the staff. Not only do they always provide great care, but it is at a very reasonable price too. It is nice to be able to call and get an appointment set up without having to wait a long time to see a doctor - I have been going Erie Optical for years and I have never had to deal with a long waiting time before I could get an appointment. Plus they have great hours, open late and on weekends, which is great with a busy schedule. I will continue to go to the Erie Optical center for all of my needs, the service, staff and care are all outstanding! I recommend them to everyone I know. I have had friends who took my advice and went to the Erie Optical Center and I have heard nothing but great reviews from each of them too! "

"I have been a patient of Dr. Waldman and going to Erie Optical since I was a kid. I have always felt welcomed when I came into the office. The girls at the desk and the girls who fit the glasses are all so nice and make you feel like family there. I now take my whole family to Erie Optical my wife and my kids love to go. Kids look for the toys every time we walk in the door. Dr. Waldman is a great doc. All the girls have great customer service, and the glasses are great too. My wife wears contacts. Would never go anywhere else!"
