Eye Consultants of Northern Virginia Welcomes Jessica Van Looveren, MD

Eye Consultants of Northern Virginia, PC is pleased to welcome Jessica Van Looveren, MD to our practice. Dr. Van Looveren is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialty training in glaucoma. In addition to practicing general ophthalmology, she specializes in the management and treatment of glaucoma.

Dr. Van Looveren graduated magna cum laude from Brown University, and earned her medical degree at Duke University. Following an internship at UPMC Mercy, she completed her residency in ophthalmology at New York University, where she served as Chief Resident. She continued on to complete a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Van Looveren has had her work published in medical journals and authored a book chapter on glaucoma. She has provided free glaucoma screenings in the community, and volunteers on a non-medical basis, including working with community organizations to assemble prepared meals and restore older homes. She lives in Northern Virginia, and enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and playing tennis.
