Anne M. Nachazel, MD

Anne M. Nachazel, MD is a past President of the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. She has been honored on multiple occasions as “Top Doc” by Hour Detroit Magazine. Dr. Nachazel obtained her undergraduate degree at Notre Dame University and her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her training in ophthalmology with a residency at the William Beaumont Eye Institute in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Dr. Nachazel has been involved with Focus: Hope for many years. The Focus: HOPE Eye Evaluation Day is an annual event which partners the Focus: HOPE Foundation with the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. The goal of this project is to provide complete eye evaluations to the underserved population of Detroit. Over 2000 patients were evaluated in the first ten years of the project.

Dr. Nachazel has been instrumental in the design and the implementation of this worthy project.
