The visual system begins to develop at the earliest stages of development. Vision issues are detectable as early as at birth. As much as 80% of what we learn in life is through the visual system. 1 in 4 children has an undiagnosed vision issue impacting how they learn.
As InfantSEE providers, our doctors offer eye examinations at no cost for children between 6-12 months of age. If your child is older than 1 year and still has not had an eye examination, call to schedule today. Our doctors will discuss the importance of vision on your child's reading ability, learning capability and coordination to set them up for a lifetime of visual success.
