Meet The Team

Marie has worked in optical since 2014, and has been the optical manager at Elite Eye Care since July of 2019. Marie specializes in giving elite patient service and will always make sure we make it right. She loves to assist in picking out unique eyewear that fits your specific fashion and personal needs. Outside of work she enjoys hiking with her husband and cuddling with her dog Darwin and her cat Emmy. 

Erin has worked as an optician since 2006. She joined the Elite Eye Care team in 2011. She has been recognized as a Certified Optician by the American Board of Opticianry. Erin’s extensive knowledge of eye wear and ophthalmic lenses ensures she will find the perfect style and latest in lens technology to best fit your needs. Erin also serves on the board of directors for the Opticians Association of Iowa.

Jennifer joined Elite Eye Care as an Optician in 2017. She has been recognized as certified optician by the American Board of Opticianry. Jennifer’s experience and friendly personality will help guide you to have an Elite experience while choosing that perfect new pair of glasses.

Elena has been working in the optical field since 2018. She started out as a technician and became a full time Optician. Elena joined Elite Eye Care in 2020, bringing a warm and light atmosphere to our patients. With her knowledge in optics and witty personality, she will ensure you get the best experience when it comes to taking care of your eye health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling to her hometown in Northern Iowa.

Brice joined Elite Eye Care in 2019 as an optician. His design focused eye helps him find the perfect frames with unique flair and style for your eyewear needs. In his free time he enjoys being with friends, being outdoors, making art and writing stories. 

Amy joined the Elite Eye Care team in 2016. As a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant, she performs the pretesting portion of your examination and assists the doctors. Amy's friendly personality will ensure you have a positive experience at Elite Eye Care.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, Tyler has provided patient care since 2011. He has worked in eye care since 2014, and performs preliminary testing and assists our doctors, in addition to helping in the optical department. Tyler's great smile and charming personality will ensure you have a great experience.

Sara joined the Elite Eye Care team in 2016. Sara is our Lead Vision Therapist and works closely with Dr. Bell to ensure we are providing the highest quality eye care beyond just glasses and contact lenses. She enjoys working one-on-one with her patients, teaching them the skills they need to grow and take ownership of their own success. With Vision Therapy, her passion is working with patients that suffer from a traumatic brain injury, strabismus, amblyopia, visual discomfort and/or difficulty at school. She enjoys motivating and encouraging her patients to achieve their goals. Sara is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and completed the Optometric Technician program at DMACC. When not at Elite Eye Care Sara loves to teach dance, travel, and spend time with family.

Monica enjoys working one-on-one with the youngest patients, specializing in toddlers and early elementary-aged children. As a Vision Therapist at Elite Eye Care, Monica’s goals for her patients are improving their visual skills including eye turns, lazy eyes, double vision, and school reading skills. Since beginning her career, she has obtained her Certified Paraoptometric Certification (CPO) and is now working towards her Certified Optometric Vision Therapist Certification (COVT). Monica resides in Ankeny with her husband, Jalen. In her spare time, she enjoys playing and coaching volleyball, traveling to her hometown in Minnesota, and spending time with her family and friends, especially on the farm.

Hope has worked in optical since 1990. She has worked as an Optician, technician and in billing. Hope started at Elite Eye Care in January of 2018. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, children, gardening and the outdoors.

Magi has been in the customer service industry for 7 years. She was an office manager at an IT company for two years that assisted multiple medical offices with their servers. She takes pride in assisting patients with scheduling and referrals. In her free time, Magi enjoys hiking with my dog, playing board games, and snuggling her infant son.

Addy joined our team in October of 2019. She has several years of Operations experience working in the contact lens industry and as a receptionist in multiple different medical settings. She is also a Registered Dental Assistant which provides her with an in depth knowledge of patient care.  Addy very much enjoys working with patients over the phone to make sure their experience is Elite from start to finish. When not at Elite Eye Care Addy enjoys traveling back to her home state of Utah to hike national parks, snowboard, and spend time with her family.
