Macular Degeneration and Low Vision Rehabilitation Center
We offer you the most advanced services and treatment choices. Low vision rehabilitation starts with an evaluation by one of our (specially) trained doctors. Some people are born with low vision, but it can also be caused by health conditions such as Glaucoma, Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Diabetic Retinopathy or a traumatic brain injury.
We will assess your visual abilities, limitations and needs; we identify the cause of problems and develop a treatment and therapy plan. We may prescribe therapeutics or refer you to other specialists on our eye care team.
We may help you to select eyeglasses and optical devices such as magnifiers. We will work with you if you need rehabilitation therapy to improve your vision, and we will help you and your family to understand your eye health. We will develop a program especially for you — a program that will help preserve your vision, comfort and safety.
