Dr. Matthew A. Trego

B.S. University of Scranton, O.D. Pennsylvania College of Optometry

Specializes in contact lens management, keratoconus, age-related macular degeneration, and low vision rehabilitation

Following graduation from optometry school, Dr. Trego remained in Philadelphia with a practice based in Wills Eye Hospital, which specialized in both contact lens management of corneal disease and low vision rehabilitation of macular disease.

Dr. Trego, a native of Mifflinburg, and his wife Danielle, an Altoona native, returned to the area and settled in State College in 2007. They have a daughter, Natalie, a son, Joey and an English bulldog, Ralph.

Awards and Achievements:
Dr. Trego graduated with clinical honors in Low Vision and Primary care at Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Member of, the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association and Mid-Counties Optometric Society.
