Dr. Peter G. Theodorous

B.S. University of Pittsburgh, O.D. Pennsylvania College of Optometry

Specializes in contact lenses, laser refractive surgery, pediatrics, and treatment of eye diseases including dry eye, glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetes

Dr. Theodorous is a native of western Pennsylvania and did his undergraduate work at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors in 1990, also receiving citations for Clinical Honors in Low Vision and Excellence in Ocular Pathology. He is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa and the Gold Key Honor Societies.

He is a member of two churches; Holy Trinity Orthodox Church and St. Luke’s Lutheran Church where he is currently the acting youth director. He is a member of the State College Elks, the Centre Hall Lion’s Club, Masons Old Fort Lodge No. 537, and assistant den leader for Cub Scout Pack 381.

Dr. Theodorous and his wife Kim are married for thirty-three years and have three children.

Awards and Achievements:
“Young Optometrist of the Year” for the Mid-Counties in 1997.

Committees and Associations:
He is an active member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Pennsylvania State Optometric Association where he serves as Trustee, and is Past President and Vice President of the local Mid-Counties Optometric Society. He is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Vision Benefits of America: a nonprofit Pennsylvania corporation founded to promote the visual welfare of Pennsylvania citizens.
