Tahlia started her career in the optometry field in 2011. She had spent the last 8 years managing a busy practice here in Orlando. She approaches each day with passion and heart. Patient care is of upmost importance. You would be hard pressed to find her without a smile on her face. When she is away from the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, DIY crafts, going to the beach, and visiting the local theme parks.

Lead Optometric Technician

Jasmina became an Optometric Technician in 2013 and joined the Southwest Orlando Eye Care team when she moved to Orlando from Virginia in 2016. She is a Certified Refractive Technician and is known affectionately as Jaz by many of her patients. She loves helping patients pick out new frames and especially enjoys working with contact lens patients.

Janice has an extensive background in the healthcare industry. She values efficiency and patient convenience. Janice encourages an environment where patients come first. She is always willing to spend as much time with a patient as they need. She has been noted by patients as going above and beyond. Her professionalism and friendly personality is valued by patients of all ages. Janice enjoys spending time with family and friends when she is away from the office.

Jessy joins our Southwest Orlando Eye Care team with over 20 years in the ophthalmology field. She is a new resident to Orlando, but not Florida. Jessy graduated from Hillsbourgh Community College with her A.S in opticianry and medical administration. She later achieved her certification as an optometric technician. Jessy is a firm believer that the eyes are the windows to the soul.

Vision Therapy Assistant

Shelly has over 20 years of special education experience. Her focus is on learning disorders and she has a true passion for Vision Therapy and the results students receive. She loves working with kids and knows that improving their vision allows them greater success when learning. She has been praised for her patience and excellent parent communication. Shelly works with Dr. K every step of the way to provide a customized vision therapy plan for each student.

Optical Manager

William has been in the optical field since 2016. He loves finding patients the frames that match their personality and helping kids with their first pair of glasses. William has a passion for making sure everyone looks and sees their best. When he is not in the office,William enjoys going to Disney with his girlfriend, spending too much money on sneakers, playing video games and watching Basketball.

Optical Lead

Genesis is an Orlando native that graduated in 2011 from ValenciaCollege with a degree in Medical Office Administration. She entered the world of optical in 2013 as an Optometric Technician. Since then she has also worked as an Apprentice Optician and for ophthalmology. Genesis strives to help people meet their vision needs by helping them find frames that suit their personality and make them feel comfortable. When she is not working, you will most likely find her crafting, at the movies or spending time with her family and children.
