Eyes on our Community - Mobile Health Unit Event

On September 27th, the Insight team headed out to the Texas Health Foundation Sip and See Event, where they unveiled their new Mobile Health Unit. The Mobile Unit will provide mammograms and well-woman exams to underserved women in Dallas County, who otherwise would not receive these preventative health screenings. Dr. Bank and his team are extremely passionate about community outreach programs like this one, and have supported Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital since 2009.

Texas Health Resources Foundation raises funds that support clinical, educational and resource programs across the Texas Health system, including Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital here in Dallas. The Foundation is an essential resource for Texas Health Hospitals to bridge the gap between patient costs and hospital costs. The Mobile Health Outreach Program has already provided thousands of screening exams to women in Tarrant County. We are excited to be a part of this amazing program and can’t wait to see the impact that they will make in Dallas.
