Dr. Deanna Nguyen
Dr. Deanna Nguyen grew up in Tustin, California and received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of California, Irvine with a major in Biological Sciences and minor in Anthropology. She had a curiosity in vision and health care at a young age and spent her undergraduate years cultivating that interest working at the University Eye Clinic and partaking in schizophrenia research for the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior.
Dr. Nguyen received her Doctorate of Optometry at University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. Dr. Nguyen completed her professional externships at the Portland VA Medical Center, Casa Grande VA and Omni Eye. Dr. Nguyen is licensed in the State of California to diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the eye including glaucoma, and is certified to use therapeutic pharmaceutical agents. Her special optometric interests include general optometry, pediatric optometry, ocular disease, contact lenses and myopia control. Dr. Nguyen is experienced in all areas of vision correction with contact lenses and glasses. She fits many types of contact lenses and would love to help you obtain your best vision.
In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, biking, playing her ukulele, and exploring new music. We are thrilled to have such a caring and upbeat optometrist on our eye care team!
