Through the use of a magnified lens and strong light, Dr. Register will be able to see the details of your eyes. Dilating a patient’s pupils will give him a better view of the inner workings of the eyes, and allow him to check for diseases such as cataracts and macular degeneration. We will also administer a pressure check using a puff of air onto each eye. This helps discern if there is a possibility of glaucoma. If these simple tests reveal anything of concern, we will move onto a more in-depth assessment and establish the most appropriate treatment for your particular complication.
