About Dr. Cuba, Our Optometrist Serving San Antonio & Surrounding Areas

At our clinic, we understand the challenges of overcoming obstacles in life. Dr. Pedro Cuba immigrated to the United States during childhood and worked hard to reach his goal of helping others through proper eye care. During his early years, he joined the United States Military and served the country. After completing his contract, he became a bilingual teacher and started studying optometry.

He also strives to give back to others and offers options for low-income families through special pricing and payment options that allow families to seek proper eye care, even when they do not have insurance.

Highly-rated Optometry Care

During a comprehensive vision exam, we evaluate the current health of your eyes and identify any complications that may require corrective lenses. A contact lens exam takes the process further by measuring your eyes and clarifying the potential complications that may limit your options for contact lenses. A San Antonio eye doctor then provides different lenses that may work with your visual concerns.

After determining the current health of your eyes, we help you find the right contact lenses or glasses to correct your vision. We offer a variety of different frames to fit your specific style preferences or your goals for your vision. We also ensure that you obtain glasses that have the correct prescription to correct a concern with your eyes.

When a vision test finds a potential condition, we help you determine the appropriate steps for your eye health. For example, we may suggest medicated eye drops if you have an infection in your eyes or we may recommend options for glaucoma if you have a risk of the condition. Our recommendations for treatment options depend on the specific condition that may impact your vision. A comprehensive exam may identify a variety of concerns and we help you determine when to seek a surgical solution or when you may benefit from alternative options for your eyes.

Contacts & Eye Exam Specials from Our San Antonio Optometry Practice

When you visit an optometrist in San Antonio about your eyes, you want to ensure that the exam and potential treatments are affordable. At Mi Vision Eye Care, we take measures to keep our pricing reasonable and we specifically offer regular eye exam specials and more to help you stay within your budget.

In our clinic, we offer a special rate for eye exams and glasses. If you have an eye exam in our clinic and need single vision glasses to correct nearsightedness or farsightedness, then we offer a special rate of $99 for the exam and glasses. If you need bi-focal glasses, then we offer a special rate of $129 for the exam and glasses. The comprehensive exam allows us to catch potential concerns at an early stage and it is part of the special pricing.

For individuals who wear contact lenses, we offer a special rate for the exam. The exam is $99 for the contact lens prescription, glasses prescription, a single pair of lenses, a contact lens case, solution for the contacts and three follow-up appointments to check on your reaction to the contacts. We may recommend different types of lenses if you feel uncomfortable with the contact lenses and mention the concern during a follow-up appointment.

At our clinic, we also offer a discount if you use our online tools to set up an appointment. When you book an appointment online, you receive 20 percent off the cost of your eye exam.
