Jaumara "Jay" Otero

LASIK Consultant and Surgical Technician

Jaumara better known as "Jay" is our LASIK Consultant and Surgical Technician. A Miami native herself she has over ten years of ophthalmology experience and works side by side with Dr. Aran and Dr. Morello. She has assisted our surgeons in thousands of refractive surgeries and looks forward to guiding you through yours. Jay has completed all the certifications to utilize the state of the art technology at our center. She will be by your side from start to finish to answer all of your questions through your lasik journey. Outside of making life changing moments possible Jay enjoys going to the beach, spending time with family, and traveling. Her most memorable traveling experience was the time she spent in Spain. Jay prides herself on her experience and knowledge regarding lasik and refractive surgery and looks forward to being a part of your life changing moment at TLC.

Mariana "Mari" Rodriguez

Surgical Consultant

Mariana also known as "Mari" is our specialized lasik and refractive surgical consultant. Her extensive knowledge on the benefits of refractive surgery and outgoing personality will guide you in making the best decision for your life changing moment. Outside of making life changing moments possible Mariana enjoys spending time with her growing family, which include her husband and daughter. Her husband is also part of life changing moments in people's lives as a firefighter in the south Florida community. Mariana enjoys traveling, playing tennis, outdoor activities, and dancing. She looks forward to guiding you through your lasik journey.

Liz Martinez

LASIK Representative

Liz is the center's LASIK representative and will always greet you with a smile as you walk into TLC Miami. She ensures each patient receives tender loving care at our office because that is the TLC way. She prides herself on her ability to answer all of your questions and concerns through your LASIK journey. She enjoys traveling, spearfishing, reading, painting, and spending time with her family and friends. While also being a full time student at FIU working on her psychology major. Her favorite part of being a team member is her involvement in our marketing and social media department along with understanding our patient’s needs to ensure an excellent LASIK journey.
