Referring Doctors

If you are a referring physician or other health care professional, we look forward to assisting you in the care of your patient. We consult with many area optometrists, ophthalmologists, primary care physicians, family medicine doctors, internists, pediatricians, emergency room physicians, allergists, rheumatologists and endocrinologists to bring the best eye care to those in need of our services. Upon consultation, prompt letters and/or reports are written at the time of patient service to coordinate care.

For emergency consultation, we'll see your patient the same day of your referral. For non-emergent consultation, we'll see your patient within 1 week. For all referrals, please call our main office number at 254-690-4733 to speak with our patient coordinators.

If a patient is a Tricare beneficiary, please have the patient request to their PCM to be referred to "First Eye Care Killeen" and "Dr. Thomas Lucas".
