What Our Eye Doctors Test for

They’ll check for normal color vision also, and they’ll explore your peripheral field of vision. For older patients, intraocular pressure may be tested to look for early warning signs of glaucoma, and we’ll also discuss any issues you’ve been having to determine if they indicate the presence of another underlying medical condition.

The Importance of an Annual Eye Exam

In fact, our optometrist can detect early warning signs of a number of other medical conditions by examining your eyes, including diabetes and high blood pressure.
