By far, this was the most thorough eye examination I have ever experienced! Even though I was the last appointment for the day, I didn’t feel rushed. All my questions were answered, and I felt I could make an informed decision with the type of glasses I would need. The office staff set the tone when I arrived by being very pleasant and helpful with the paperwork process, and the preliminary examination. Being that I was trying to get an examination done before the new year, I drove 45 minutes to get to this location and I’m so glad I did. They even offered me the option of picking up my glasses at a location that was closer to me, but the experience was so pleasant that I told them I wouldn’t mind driving back out to Leesburg to pick them up. Such a great way to end the year!

Dr. Bermel, along with staff Hailey & Renee in the Fairfax office have been amazing. After years of no response to standard dry eye care, Dr. Bermel proceeded to treat my Meibomian Gland Dysfunction with LipiVision, LipiFlow and IPL. Two treatments in and I am seeing more relief now than in 10 years of (ineffective) treatment elsewhere. The Bermel Team have a protocol for dry eye treatment! I highly recommend them.

I’ve been a patient for more than 20 years. Great people to work with. Just picked up contact lenses and love the clearer vision. Update: Great service over the past year. I lost a contact lens three times over the year and Renee was great at getting replacements expedited. Always a great office and wonderful staff. They take the time to address your vision needs and Jeff works with you to pick the right eyewear for you. Dr. Carlos provides thorough exams and explains the results. I highly recommend this practice for your family's vision care.
