Meet Our Team

Devine Eyes was founded in 2003 by Dr. Jeffery S. Pockl and Dr. David J. Matthews, two highly respected doctors in the optometry field. Dr. Pockl has ample experience in primary eye care, low vision, and contact lens exams and fittings while Dr. Matthews is well versed in the area of eye diseases. Together with our optometry team, we’re committed to providing the vision care services you need.

Services We Provide

At Devine Eyes, we personalize our services to suit the needs of your family. Our comprehensive eye care services range from vision and eye health tests to providing prescription eyewear to the management of eye diseases.

Eye Exams: During a comprehensive eye exam, we will test your eyes for visual clarity, eye-focus, and eye movement. We will also evaluate your eyes for signs of eye conditions and diseases. Our eye doctor will assess your visual acuity to determine if you have refractive errors that are impairing your vision. These refractions can be corrected with prescription eyewear to maximize your visual clarity.

If you show signs of eye disease, we will recommend treatment and provide valuable counsel on managing your symptoms to avoid permanent vision loss.

Contact Lens Exams and FittingsFor those who prefer contacts to prescription eyeglasses, we offer contact lens exams and fittings to make it easier to obtain the contacts you want and need. We carry a wide range of contacts to facilitate our patient’s needs. These include soft daily wear contacts, rigid gas-permeable (RGP) contacts, extended-wear, disposable contacts, and more. Our optometrist will explain the pros and cons of each so you can make knowledgeable contact lens decisions.

Prescription Eyeglasses & Sunglasses: We offer the latest styles in designer frames and high-tech lenses to help you find prescription eyeglasses you are comfortable and happy with. By opting for photo-chromatic lenses, your prescription eyeglasses can double as sunglasses when you’re out in the sun. We also carry stylish non-prescription sunglasses to protect your eyes against the sun’s UV rays.
