At Eye Contact, our optometrists and our entire Madison optometry team are committed to providing advanced vision care in a professional and comfortable environment. Our primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function. In addition to eye exams and vision testing, our optometrists and our team of optometry professionals provide testing for glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration. Our Madison optometrists also offer glasses, contact lenses, and pre- and post-operative care.

Eye Exams

Our optometrists and the Eye Contact team take even routine eye exams very seriously. During a yearly or bi-yearly examination, our Madison patients will receive a patient history review, a series of vision and eye tests, assessments of eye focusing and movement, and an eye health evaluation. Our optometrist will discuss any additional testing that may be required to diagnose an eye disease or condition. Call us a today at 608-833-3937 to schedule an appointment.

Contact Lenses

Not sure that glasses are for you? Ask our Madison staff about contact Lenses. Advances in the field of optometry have produced a variety of different types of contact lenses with a range of benefits. Rigid gas-permeable (RGP), daily-wear soft, extended-wear, extended-wear disposable, and planned replacement are the various types of contact lens options available today. Our Madison optometrists will discuss the various options with you to determine which type will best fit your needs and lifestyle. Schedule your examination today by calling 608-833-3937. They are many advantages to consider when determining if contact lenses are right for you and our knowledgeable staff is here to answer any questions.

Renewing your contact lens prescription

In order to renew a contact lens prescription the lenses need to be evaluated by the doctor during the exam.  This involves additional tests not included in a ‘comprehensive wellness’ exam which pertain only to the contact lens wearer.  They may include but are not limited to: corneal keratometer, corneal staining evaluation, over refraction with the lenses, evaluation of the fit and condition of the lenses in place on the eye, and discussion with recommendations in regard to care, options and alternative options (particularly as new contact lenses become available).  Please call if you have any questions: 608-833-3937 608-241-3737

Information is so important with this procedure that the doctors at Eye Contact offer complimentary laser vision consultation appointments. Preliminary testing is performed to determine your suitability as a candidate in addition to time to discuss whether or not the procedure is right for you.
