Karissa
Insurance Coordinator

Karissa is our office Insurance Guru. Although not on the front lines of the office - she can sometimes be seen helping out up front on our busy days. She has over 17 years in the Optical Industry and worked as an A.B.O. Certified Optician for 13 years before going behind the scenes to work on the insurance processing and claims management side. Karissa is a native Californian but has come to love being in Texas for over 15 years now, where she moved after meeting her husband Jason of 12 years now. They have two awesome kids together and love spending time as a family and visiting their extended family in San Antonio.  Karissa has been with Cedar Park Eye Care for almost 4 years now and loves the close knit- family vibe we have here. See if you can spot her when you’re here on your next visit…like a “Where’s Waldo” adventure!

Wayne
Frame Manager/Optician

I have been an optician since 1971. I was licensed in Massachusetts and Florida. I took some time off to pursue other interests, but am now back to what I enjoy: working with patients and frame-styling. I am currently the frame manager in charge of all eyewear purchases. When I am not spending time with my wife, a native New Englander like myself, I enjoy working out daily, playing golf and following my New England teams.
