- Dr. Burns received “Optometrist of the Year” in 2013.
- Dr Burns was elected President of the Maryland Optometric Association in 2012. Dr. Burns was voted “Young Optometrist of the Year” by the Maryland Optometric Association in 1998. He was selected the recipient TLC laser eye centers “Dennis Kennedy Excellence in Eye Care” award for 2005!
- Eye Design received the 2005 Practice of the year from Dr. Gary Gerbers’ Power Practice.
- Barry received the Opticians Association of Maryland Distinguished Optician Award for 2009.
