Dr. Ilana Ginsburg, O.D.Dr. Ilana Ginsburg was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended the University of Maryland where she graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Physiology.
Dr. Ginsburg received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry (UABSO), graduating with high honors in 2017. During her time at UABSO, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society and the Gold Key Honors Society. She was also president of the American Optometric Student Association. Her clinical rotations included the Birmingham VA Hospital, UAB Eye Care in Birmingham, AL, and OMNI Eye Services of Atlanta, GA.
Since her graduation, Dr. Ginsburg has remained an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association. Dr. Ginsburg is committed to providing the highest level of comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, and she particularly enjoys treating her pediatric patients. Her clinical interests include dry eye disease, diabetic eyecare, LASIK and cataract consultations as well as post-operative care. Dr. Ginsburg is proud to offer outstanding eye care services in her hometown.
Dr. Ginsburg resides in metro Atlanta with her husband and 2 children. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her close-knit family. -
Dr. Peggy Sinkoe, O.D.Dr. Peggy Sinkoe is an Atlanta native and has been practicing optometry for over 30 years. She attended Georgia State University and then attended optometry school at the Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, TN, where she graduated in 1986.
Dr. Sinkoe founded Belvedere Eye Center with her brother David Sinkoe nearly 20 years ago as a family practice, and together they have earned the trust and satisfaction of a dedicated patient base in the Decatur and Atlanta area.
Dr. Sinkoe is excited to welcome her daughter, Dr. Ilana Ginsburg, to the Belvedere Eye Center team.
Dr. Sinkoe lives in the metro Atlanta area with her husband of almost 30 years. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, gardening, and spending time with her four children and four grandsons.
