Often, eye and vision problems do not have obvious symptoms or signs, but are easily diagnosed by an eyecare specialist. By diagnosing eye and vision conditions early on, our doctors are able to provide treatment options and, in many cases, restore vision or prevent vision loss. The American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Ophthamology recommend routine yearly or bi-yearly eye and vision exams.

Vision Testing
Regular vision testing and evaluations ensure that you always have the clearest vision possible.
- Automated and manual vision testing to obtain the clearest vision possible
- Obtain prescription for contacts or glasses; distance and reading
- Eye muscle balance testing
Eye Health Analysis
As part of a comprehensive eye exam, our doctors examine the overall health of the eye through a visual examination
- Eye pressure obtained (glaucoma test)
- Microscopic evaluation of all structures of the eye; external and internal (preferably with pupil dilated)
- Retina examination to rule out Macular Degeneration or other retinal diseases
Special Testing
If the suspicion of disease arises in the routine comprehensive exam
- Automated visual fields testing
- Optic nerve and retinal nerve imaging
- Topography to analyze corneal irregularities
