Insurance
The knowledgeable staff at SouthWest Vision is experienced in working with insurance providers. It is our goal to get the most accurate benefit information for the patient. Some insurances have benefits for medical care or vision care or both. We will work directly with you and your insurance provider to submit claims regarding your care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits. Flexible Spending Accounts / Health Savings Accounts
Many employers are offering Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) options to their employees. Sometimes, these are referred to as cafeteria plans and are elective, supplemental insurance savings plans. These plans are designed to let you save money in an account, pre-taxed, to pay for additional medical expenses such as eye exams, eyeglasses, contact lenses or other medical procedures. Check with the benefits administrator at your work to see if you are eligible for this program. FSAs and HSAs can be used in conjunction with insurances to offset any out-of-pocket costs on your behalf.
Other Payment Options
Our staff understands that cost is a concern when choosing eye care providers. We do not want cost to be an obstacle in maintaining proper eye health and good vision We accept most forms of payment and are happy to discuss financing options with you prior to your examination. We also accept most insurance plans, Care Credit, cash, checks and major credit cards.
