The technology for early detection of health conditions of the macula and optic nerve is so amazing that we want to offer it to our patients (even though insurance does not help pay for screenings).
You can elect to add this to your eye exam. More than the doctor's typewritten notes, it adds the actual digital image of the optic nerve and macula to your record for future comparison.
