• Your vision problem is not simply the result of aging. Many candidates over the age of forty find that LASIK is not right for them as their vision problems are simply a matter of normal deterioration over time. LASIK is great for correcting major issues, but it's not intended to help with the gradual process of getting older.
• You do not have a disqualifying health condition. These can include lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, cataracts, and certain eye infections within the last year.
