About Our Optometrist, Dr. Candace Acord

Qualified and Experienced Optometrist

Dr. Candace Acord received her B.S. in Biochemistry from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2006 and went on to attend the Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK. She graduated with a Doctorate of Optometry degree in May 2010.

She completed her externship in ocular disease and refractive surgery at BVA and TLC in Tulsa and then went to work at Tecumseh / Harrah Eye Clinic. She became the District Director of her region for the OAOP, and was one of the 16 graduates of the 2012 Leadership Optometry Class. After working at Harrah Eye Clinic for over three years, Dr. Acord purchased the practice in 2013.
