Eye Exams for the Family
New patients, from adults to children, are welcome to receive eye exams at Deerfoot Eye Care in Clay, Alabama. For your convenience, we work with all types of healthcare. Walk-ins are accepted.
Vision Check
Whether you are a new or existing patient, we begin with a consultation of your full medical history to ensure that proper eye care is given. All eye exams inclufde a full medical screening to test for glaucoma and cataracts, as well as macular degeneration. We check for defects that could have long-term effects on your vision, as well as your eye pressure.
For better testing measurements during the exam, we dilate your eyes. After your examination, our doctor discusses your results and assesses your needs for prescription glasses or other necessary eyewear. You have the opportunity to pick your frames or contact lenses after consulting with us about your options.
