By wearing custom made corneal retainers overnight while you sleep, you will have clear vision all day long without wearing eyeglasses or contact lenses. Anyone who is not a candidate for laser refractive surgery (LASIK), prefers a non-surgical alternative, or has had difficulty wearing contact lenses may be a good candidate for OCR. Children and teens do very well with OCR, and it may slow the progression of myopia (nearsightedness).
