Dr. Anderson is an army brat that graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors and Masters degree in biology from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry where she was an
active member in the National Optometric Student Association, Private Practice Club, and Georgia State Club, among others. She was active in many community service events and also served as a lab teaching assistant to underclassmen.
After graduating, she completed a one year residency in primary care in Crownpoint, New Mexico where she lived on a Native American reservation and served the Navajo Nation community. While working at the local hospital, she served as attending doctor to several optometry students, wrote monthly eye health articles for the hospital newsletter, and gave continuing education to many other local optometrists.
In her spare time, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her husband Lance, their son Liam, poodle Max, playing dominos, going to local trivia nights, watching scary movies, and going to comic-cons.
