Creating balance in mind, body and spirit is my personal and professional mission. For the last 14 years, I have provided yoga, movement therapy, life coaching, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapy, integrative therapy, and meditative modalities for my clients. Clients include children, teens, adults and seniors. My concentration is on releasing stress of mind and body which may create pain, depression and/or anxiety. I feel that symptoms stemming from a physical, mental or emotional deficit can come from an imbalance in life and can be treated by applying techniques to bring balance back in one’s life.
I have received my Masters in Social Work at Adelphi University and have been an LISW for 24 years. My interest in movement therapy developed after I became certified as an Integral Yoga Teacher (Therapist) at T.R.Y. (Therapy, Reiki, Yoga) For Life School based out of Ursuline College in 2004. As a wife, mother of two beautiful daughters, and having a professional career, I understand the importance of having a balanced life.
