Marc Boland, licensed Optician and owner, learned his profession in the United States Air Force and got his optician's license in 1999. He and his family moved to the Treasure Coast in 1999. He has worked in optical manufacturing, as well as private and retail optical. Marc purchased Taylor Creek Optical, from a retiring Bill Palmer, in October 2021. Taylor Creek Optical (TCO) moved to downtown Fort Pierce in 2014. This location provides a larger showroom for frames, larger examination rooms, and is within walking distance from dozens of local shops and restaurants such as Sailfish Brewery and The Fort Steakhouse.
Tom Mitchell, a licensed Optician, joined the TCO team over 25 years ago. His outgoing personality, professionalism, and compassion make him a perfect fit for Taylor Creek Optical.
Mary Pena-Roque joined our team in August of 2020. She brings a wealth of knowledge in opticianry and can find the perfect frame for our customers.

TCO is proud to offer the services of Dr. Ron McCord, one of South Florida’s best Optometrists. Dr. McCord performs eye examinations on select days during the week, including some Saturdays. He gives an extremely thorough and caring exam, and is always happy to answer all of your questions and concerns during your comprehensive visit.
