Jerry Carlson, OD

Jerry completed various rotations in Portland, and Salem, Oregon, and in Salt Lake City at The Eye Institute of Utah. He practiced in Utah for four years before returning to Idaho Falls and opening Aspen Ridge Eye Care in December 2006.

Jerry and his wife, Jennifer, have four children. He enjoys music; playing the guitar and piano; watching his kids participate in sports, dance, and music; fly fishing; aquariums and spending time with his family.

Jerry sincerely enjoys spending time with patients. It is important to him that they are educated and made aware of their individual options. He offers comprehensive eye exams, diabetic eye exams, treats macular degeneration and glaucoma, manages and treats ocular diseases, performs pre and post-operative care of Lasik and other ocular surgeries, treats pediatric and sports optometry, as well as emergency/trauma care. He also assists in dispensing glasses and contacts.
