Diana Slavin, O.D.
Dr. Diana Slavin is a native of Richmond, Virginia. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. As the daughter of a prominent Richmond area developmental optometrist, the late Dr. Sidney Slavin, it was only natural that Dr. Slavin chose to pursue the career that she had grown up with: Optometry. Following her father’s lead, she graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
She began her career in Northern Virginia in private practice, where she honed her skills and interests in pediatrics and contact lenses. She joined Ashburn Eyecare Associates in 2003 and specializes in pediatrics and contact lenses. Patients love her outgoing demeanor and her dedication to their care. Dr. Slavin is a member of the Northern Virginia Optometric Society, Virginia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She and her husband are residents of Loudoun County and the proud parents of three children.
