Meet The Staff

Dr. Teser has extensive knowledge and experience with LASIK and cataract surgery co-management, glaucoma, Keratoconus, contact lenses, diseases from the cornea to the retina, and emergency eye care. She has a special interest in the treatment and management of Dry Eye Disease, of which she has much experience managing. She is also Orthokeratology Certified by the manufacturers of several orthokeratology lens designers, a non surgical alternative to refractive surgery. Dr. Teser has participated as a sub-investigator in several clinical studies focused on dry eye disease, ocular infection, LASIK, and corneal implants. As an active member of the American Optometric Association and Virginia Optometric Association, Dr. Teser has served on the Board of Trustees of the Northern Virginia Optometric Society since 2009. Currently, she serves as their Treasurer. Dr. Teser is proud to be an active military member serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force Reserves. She has participated and continues to support medical missions to those in need of eye care including VOSH and Tropic Care.

Dr. Teser resides in Falls Church with her husband and dogs. They enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking, watersports, obstacle races, and physical fitness. Dr. Teser believes in each and every one of her patients feeling and looking their best. She is excited to help her patients achieve this goal.
