My family of 6 has been part of their practice for over 10 years (at first separately until they merged together) and now we all go to the Fairfax location. They spend time reviewing your history, discuss the purpose of the visit, and then check your vision very thoroughly. You never feel rushed. They are patient in each part of the journey - from finding the right glasses, getting them fit, ordering them, and communicating their arrival - and are as patient and thorough with contact lenses or any other service. They were most patient when my then pre-teen daughters decided on contacts. They cheered them on even when the first attempt was a disaster, but after a second try months later, there was success. I'm pretty sure my oldest remembers that as she now works in an eye doctor's office herself. "The waiting area - where you probably won't need to stick around long, since they seem to keep appointments very well - has comfortable chairs, and is well stocked with magazines. The staff is very polite and helpful, as was my optometrist, Dr. Sandy Marotta. I had a general eye exam and was fitted for contacts - and was in and out in less than 45 minutes.
