Dr. Mark D. Rodammer

Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Mark D. Rodammer graduated with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1986. He began his career working at an ophthalmology practice in Flint, Michigan. In 1990, he moved to Waynesboro to take over a local private practice where he enjoyed serving patients until 2007. He explored affiliation with a corporate entity, but soon realized he greatly missed the private practice setting. From 2010-2017, Dr. Rodammer went back to working in the private setting in Lynchburg, Virginia. When the opportunity arose for him to return to Waynesboro, he was beyond excited to come back to the area and resume caring for the patients he so dearly missed.

Dr. Rodammer’s philosophy is to thoroughly care for patients in a compassionate manner. He has a true desire to help patients using the latest technology to improve their quality of life. Dr. Rodammer manages several eye diseases, such as glaucoma and macular degeneration, and works closely with the best surgeons who can assist should the need arise.

Dr. Rodammer has a wife, Therese, and two sons, Nick and Noah. His children were born in Waynesboro and educated in the Waynesboro School District. Dr. Rodammer and his wife reside in Fishersville. He loves watching college football and is an avid University of Michigan fan.
