Meet the Optometrists

Dr. Jennifer Gula was born and raised in Tinley Park, IL.  She attended Victor J.Andrew High School and graduated with honors from St. Xavier University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She discovered her passion for Optometry and enrolled at the Illinois College of Optometry.  During that time, she did her specialty rotations in pediatrics and contact lens at the Illinois Eye Institute.  She graduated with her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2009.  Dr. Gula has been with Family Vision Care for 9 years and thoroughly enjoys family practice.  Dr. Gula holds a membership with both the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. 

Dr. Lori Zintak was raised on the Southwest side of Chicago in the Clearing neighborhood. She attended Maria High School and Lewis University, where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, minoring in Chemistry and Biochemistry. Dr. Zintak went on to pursue her passion for optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry where she graduated, with honors, in 2013. Dr. Zintak has been with Family Vision Care since 2016, and is excited to be part of the Family Vision Care family. 

Dr. Alicia Kinch was raised in Berville, MI and attended Armanda High School.  She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Transylvania University in Lexington, KY while she played collegiate softball.  In 2016, Dr. Kinch received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry.  Post-graduation, she devoted a year to residency training at the Illinois College of Optometry specializing in ocular disease and full-scope primary care. During her time in residency, she cared for patients with acute and chronic conditions in urgent and disease focused clinics.

She spent time during her optometric education teaching fellow students, reaching out to the community with vision screening and presenting at national conferences.  She is member of the Illinois and American Optometric Association.  Dr. Kinch resides on the Southside of Chicago with her husband, Logan, and their rescued Irish Wolfhound, Fiona.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants and bourbons, as well as engaging in outdoor activities.  She is excited to join the Family Vision Care team.
