Meet The Optometrists

Gina Wesley, OD, MS, FAAO

Dr. Wesley grew up in Pipestone, Minnesota and received her bachelor’s degree at the College of Saint Benedict. She then went on to The Ohio State University, where she pursued concurrent degrees in both clinical optometry and masters in vision science.

Accolades for Dr. Wesley include The Ohio State University College of Optometry 2006 Graduate of the Year and fellowship within the American Academy of Optometry. She enjoys all aspects of primary care, especially contact lenses and children’s eye exams. Dr. Wesley enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with her family.

Dr Wesley was also nominated in 2013 for the Early Professional Achievement Award from The Ohio State University College of Optometry Alum Association - the criteria was an alum who is 15 years or less out of school who has demonstrated professional achievement and success within the optometric industry.

In July of 2013, Dr. Wesley was selected by the readers of Review of Optometric Business and Vision Monday as a “2013 Optometric Business Innovator.” A Professional Advisory Panel of optometrists helped identify Optometric Business Innovators from across the U.S.—individuals who excel at using creative and results-oriented approaches in the following areas:

In 2014, Dr. Wesley was voted one of the Most Influential Women in Optical by readers of Vision Monday and 20/20 magazines.



Joelle Holland, OD

Dr. Holland graduated from West Bloomfield High School in West Bloomfield, MI and attended Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI where she earned her Bachelors of Biomedical Sciences. She obtained her Doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Holland completed external rotations at the Illinois Eye Institute earning clinical honors in pediatrics, advance ocular disease and primary care. She achieved honors during her externships in the treatment of ocular disease at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, MI, fitting specialty contact lenses and primary care at the Midwest City Vision Source in Midwest City, OK and in pediatrics at Heart of the City Health Center in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Holland was awarded the Michigan Foundation for Vision Awareness Scholarship and the Walman Optical Company Scholarship during her 4th academic year honoring her for outstanding clinical skills and professionalism in the field of Optometry.

Dr. Holland has volunteered at many youth and pediatric clinics and screenings throughout her academic career one of which included the New View Oklahoma Fall Arts Children's Camp in Oklahoma City, OK. She is looking forward to attending the Special Olympics in Minnesota this year.

Dr. Holland and her fiance, Zac, were recently engaged in February in Nashville, TN. This is one of her favorite places to visit as she is a big foodie and enjoys live country music. Some of her other hobbies include, running, exercising outdoors, watching college football (Go GREEN! Go WHITE!) and of course the Detroit Red Wings. She is very excited to be starting this new chapter in her life as a Minnasoten!
